How we set the standards we work to:
British Retail Consortium (Brc)
This is a standard and protocol for companies supplying food products, and provides customers with the assurance that DORIC GAME ltd has the infrastructure and management commitment to produce meat products in Hygienic conditions, safely and legally. Doric Game achieved a "B" Grade which is the second highest level.
Scores On The Doors
This system has been implemented by the Leeds City Council and provides awareness of hygiene standards for food premises, Restaurants display this certificate outside their premises, this has been extended to food manufacturers and we have been inspected and awarded 4 out of 5 stars.
EEC Number
You will notice that catering butchers now have an EEC number, this means that a Government Department has been to inspect our premises and management infrastructure and granted us a cutting plant license, (UK 2468). This license again ensures customers of the commitment of DORIC GAME ltd to produce meat in hygienic conditions, safely and legally to a high standard.
Meat Hygiene Service (MHS)
The Government then employs the MEAT HYGIENE SERVICE (MHS) to inspect us on a regular basis to ensure that standards are kept up to the required level. These evaluations ensure that DORIC GAME ltd are constantly monitoring their manufacturing practices to confidently say:
"This is how much we care about producing meat for you, it`s not always about the price of the products".
